meters away from a historical property - the Former Residence of Last
Chinese Empress (Wan Rong) - which is No. 35 and 37. Mao'er Hutong is
also
on one of the
Hutong tour route.

Below are some typical Chinese Breakfasts in Beijing specialty: Youtiao -
deep fried rolls (usually eaten with Soya milk ) Baozi - steamed dumplings (usually eat with Chinese porridge or Chaogan - like a kind of thick sauce with pig liver in it). Zhagao - (Deep fried sticky rice dough with red bean paste filling, usually eaten with Soya milk) Jianbing - a pancake made with egg (s), soybean sauce, chilli sauce (optional) and little a bit of coriander. Huntun Soup - Boiled dumplings in soup Doujiang - Soya milk Doufunao - Very tender bean curd in sauce. Chinese porridge - Boiled rice (usually eaten with pickled vegetables or pickled red bean curd)
Songhuadan (also called "Hundred
Year Old Eggs" by Western people) - specially made duck eggs, usually
