Location: This courtyard house is tucked in the North end of Nanluoguxiang - Little Ju'er Hutong, Ju'er Hutong. In a Historical Conservation Residential Zone in old city area Beijing. Great location for the people who want to explore Beijing Hutongs and interested in real local culture. The name "Hutongren" means "Hutong people" in Chinese.

• 3 km from the Forbidden City (North Gate).

• 5 km from Tian'anmen Square

• 15 minutes walk to underground/subway station, a few minutes walk to bus stops.

• Several minutes walk to Bell & Drum Tower

Single Rooms: 1100 RMB/night - 1 rooms available to book

Mezzanine Double Rooms (double occupancy): 1300 RMB/night - 3 rooms booked out on some days , other days available.

Double Rooms (double occupancy): 1800 RMB/night - 1 double room available to book. 1 double room booked out for some days

Superior Room (double occupancy): 2000 RMB/ night - available to book.

Family Room (triple occupancy): 2000 RMB/ night - available to book.

The rates for Olympics period are based on double occupancy and in Chinese currency RMB (also know as CNY). To convert into your currency, see www.x-rates.com or use your preferred currency exchange website.

Olympic period booking terms:

• Minimum stay 10 days
• Deposit is required to reserve the room (50% of total amount). Balance should be paid completely by 31 March 2008

  Cancellation:
  
  1. For 2007 bookings, 1/2 deposit will be refunded if you cancel within 30 days from our booking confirmation date; there is no refund for after 30 days of our booking confirmation if you cancel the booking.
  
  2. For 2008 bookings (dates count from our confirmation day), no refund to be made in any case of cancellation.

Facilities & Services:

• There are 2 very small courtyards as common area. All rooms are small. The standard is similar to a hostel, with cosy character. It suits young people.
   
• All rooms are air-conditioned and each room has it's own small en-suite bathroom (shower only, no bath).
   
• Double rooms maximum for 2 people, cannot add extra bed.
   
• Two "Low Level Mezzanine" style double bedrooms (very small) - soft Tatami on the upper level.
   
• Heating in winter and air-conditioning in summer
   
• Traditional Chinese stove for cosy courtyard gatherings in winter (in front courtyard)
   
• Free wireless broadband. You can either use your own laptop or use B&B's computer.
   
• A small B&B Bar where you can relax and enjoy tea, coffee and some beer.
