Description
Location: Moganshan Loft is located in Laoling Village only five minutes from Moganshan Town, the gateway to Moganshan National Park. Laoling Village is endowed with a beautiful lake where you can enjoy fishing or take in the view from one of the local restaurants. Hike to nearby caves, or rent mountain bikes and enjoy the many nature trails in the area. It's 60 kilometers (37 mi) from Hangzhou (45 minutes drive), and 200 km (124 mi) away from Shanghai (3 hours drive).
The adjacent Moganshan National Park is known as one of the major nature scenic attractions in the region and has a long history as a retreat for Shanghai’s rich and famous’ as well as the ‘notorious’… Du Yusheng known as China’s “Al Capone” had his elaborate mansion built here. Today Mogan Mountain is recapturing its old grandeur, once again attracting visitors for the area’s cool mountain air and impressive scenery.
In the area, there are dozens of spots of both historical and scenic interests. White Cloud Mountain Villa is where Chang-Kai Shek spent his honey moon, while on the other side of the park one can visit Queen’s Hotel, the former residence of Mao Zedong in 1954. Apart from the many mansions, the park is lined with dozens of nature trails, streams, and waterfalls set inside the bamboo and wooded mountains.
Another beautiful scenic area is the Bi Wu Dragon Pond located about 20 minutes drive from the Loft. There you can spend the day visiting the lush gardens, waterfalls, and temples in a tranquil countryside setting.

Facilities: The loft fits up to four people, with an upstairs mezzanine which is open to the rest of the loft, and an impressive mountain view from both side s of the floor. The king size Coco-Mat bed comfortably fits two adults – with a mattress designed for maximum comfort. The downstairs living room is equipped with a foldable sofa bed which can easily accommodate up to two children. For your comfort the self-service loft also provides: - Free Private Parking
- Modern Kitchen with sink, mini-fridge, electric stove, and microwave oven. The kitchen is equipped with plates and utensils.
- Lake-view terrace with chairs and table on wooden deck
- En-suite shower and bathroom with 24-hour hot water
